Este artículo describe la historia cultural, las estrategias figurativas, las características plásticas y el contexto de producción, circulación y consumo de las cuatro principales formas visuales wichís: figuras de cuerda, patrones trenzados, tallas de madera y grabados, con el fin de analizar algunas interpretaciones de sus significados.
