"...Entonces, la concepción del mundo andino se divide en tres espacios cosmogónicos: el Hanan Pacha, el Kay Pacha y el Ukhu Pacha2. En el primero, según Pérez (2011), se encuentran las divinidades celestes como el Inti (sol), la Quilla (luna), las estrellas, el trueno, el Illapa [rayo], el K’uychi [arcoiris], Katequilla [Katatkill, Cataquil, Catequil, Catequilla], Pachakamaq, Libiac, etcétera. Estos dioses suelen adoptar la forma antropomorfa y zoomorfa cuando se comunican con los hombres. Por otro lado, en el segundo espacio, están los espíritus de las montañas, los hombres, los animales, las plantas, los cuerpos celestes como el arcoíris. En tanto que el Ukhu Pacha o “mundo de abajo” está constituido por los cadáveres, las semillas, las entidades que habitan en la oscuridad y logran comunicarse con el Kay Pacha mediante las pakarinas u “ojos del mundo”.
