                <text>La semiótica cultural es un campo de la llamada semiótica contemporánea alternativa, caracterizada por su originalidad en el abordaje interdisciplinario del análisis crítico del discurso. Este trabajo se centra en el repertorio léxico de la comida amazónica tomando como objetivo principal reconocer y caracterizar los distintos significados pragmasemióticos desde el enfoque sociocultural-semiótico propuesto por Lotman. Empleando el diseño etnográfico de la comunicación y el interaccionismo simbólico se analiza el repertorio de la comida amazónica desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria : Sociolingüística, comunicativo-intercultural y semiótica. Los principales resultados del estudio se concentran en una propuesta de interpretar las interacciones simbólicas de los significados del lexicón de la comida amazónica. Se concluye que la comida amazónica peruana configura un aparato simbólico multicultural, metafórico y polisémico como estrategia comunicativa intercultural, y un código lingüístico diasistémico particular de la sociedad peruana. </text>
